Oh it happened in Sun Valley....

I think this will probably be the longest post I've ever done. So beware of A LOT of pictures. We went to Sun Valley, Idaho in June with Chad's family. It was such a fun trip and probably one of my favorite new places to visit. We did something different and fun every day we were there and I took a lot of pictures of everything we did so we could remember just how much fun we had. I am going to do a play by play of everything we did each day starting with the day we left.

We left Cedar Friday night and stopped to stay at Kym's in American Fork to split up the drive because it's a 9 hour drive from Cedar. Saturday morning Chad, me, Lance and Brandon got up super early to do a session at the Mt.Timpanogas temple before we left for Sun Valley. It is a beautiful temple and we marked off one more temple on our list of temple's to see. (We have a goal to visit all the temples in the world before we die). It was a great way to start off the trip.

We stopped at Shoshone Falls on our way. Apparently its the Niagara falls of the Western United States right now. It was really cool to see.

Bop bop and Karter Man

We stopped in Haley, Idaho saturday night to stay and went swimming. Sunday we got up, went to church and then off to Sun Valley for the amazing brunch. This is the whole Westwood Family minus our BIL Brandon. He had to stay home and work. It will be outdated in a couple of weeks when Anne has her twins and Kym is expecting a baby girl in october. It's impossible to keep an updated family photo in this family:) I love it!

This is all the grandkids with their Bopbop and Grandma Ellen

Chad and his clone Karter man. They are even pulling the same face. I love it.

So before we went to Sun Valley Chad's whole family talked up this brunch like you wouldn't believe but they were all right. It was amazing. And very fancy. Anytime you'd get up to get more food a waiter would come and refold the napkin. It was great.

Daddy and his little girl. Also it was Father's Day so Happy Father's Day Chad!

All the kids

Getting ready to go ice skating

Karter and Bella watching us ice skate and trying to drink the melted water

I hadn't been ice skating since I was a little girl and I loved it.

You might as well call Chad Michelle Kwan. He was so funny and actually really good.

B I N G O (we didn't win anything but it was still fun to play)

Karter and Bella truly learned what the word "treat" means on this trip. We ate SO many treats!

We went to the Chocolate Foundry every day. Ours kids were in heaven.

Grandma and all the kids

All the boys went shooting

Karter playing on the motorcycle. He's obsessed.

Bowling - Chad and Karter. Funny story about this bowling adventure.. We knew going into it that our kids were to little to bowl but we thought we'd try it out. For the majority of the time we chased them around but one time Karter got away from me and went running down the bowling lane. Of course I went chasing after him and caught up to him at the very end by leaping to catch him. I saved my child but probably one of the most humiliating things I've ever done.

Chad & Bella

I just had to take a picture of the pretty scenery

S W I M M I N G

Bella loved the pool. And she loved getting on the edge and jumping to Chad. But every time she would get up there and wave her hands and yell "Hi Mommy". It was so cute.

Bella also loved being thrown up in the air.

Tired after swimming

Our fun house we stayed in

The view from our window

After a long drive of not sleeping at all Bella decided to fall asleep as we pulled into Cedar.

Karter was delirious.

And so were mom and dad!

The End! Sorry to those that actually read my novel but I had to document everything.
