Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. We were able to spend the holiday with my family and we had a great time playing games and just hanging out. Chad surprised me with a Kitchenaid Mixer so I was thrilled. I have always wanted one of those and never thought I would get it what to my wondering eyes should appear is a freakin kitchenaid mixer. I love it!!! I got Chad a PS2 with Guitar Hero 3 and he hasn't put it down since he got it. I'm glad he likes it though. We got so much snow over the week. This picture was taken Christmas eve night. It was great having a white Christmas.

Exhausted after opening all of our presents

My brother decided to buy my dad a truck for Christmas. He was able to get a really good deal and when gas prices went up the sheriff's department made a rule that the deputies could only drive their cars for work and could not use it for personal use. So my mom had to give my dad rides to his meetings and things like that and I think it was hard for them to share the car. So my thoughtful brother Brandon decided to get this truck for my dad so he could have his own truck. He saved this present for the very last. But it was funny because Chad and I gave him some air freshners, an ice scraper, and a little shammy. And my other brother Brock gave him some tan floor mats and that don't match his cop car obviously so he tried to act nice about the presents but you could tell he was confused. Finally he opened the last present and Brandon had wrapped the keys and all the registration information in a really big box with a Harry Potter book inside to give it some weight. He took out the book and was way confused but once he got to the keys and registration he was so shocked. It was hilarious. He didn't really know what to say.
