Beach Trip

We went to California last week with the Westwood's which included 12 adults and 11 kids under the age of 8. Yes it sounds crazy but the house was the perfect size and we all had so much fun. I'm so lucky to have such great inlaws. We stayed in Seal Beach and the house was in the Surfside Colony which is a totally private beach. We seriously had so much fun. We pretty much just hung out on the beach everyday. We went to Disneyland one of the days and the twins loved it. We got to take them on a lot of the rides and they did so good. We also went to the Pier one day and looked at the shops at Seal Beach. It is a fun little place. Oh and a lot of the mornings we went out to the beach and found seashells and like millions of washed up sunglasses. Here are several of the pictures that we took....

First day at the beach

Karter LOVED the water and big waves. Bella and I not so much. We enjoy looking at the water.

Chad surfing (sorry not the greatest picture)

I could never get Bella to look at me and smile for longer than a second. She was way too distracted. So this is the best picture I got of her.

Chad and the babies

Karter loved to eat the sand. Bella liked to eat the seashells.

The most magical place in the world .... DiSnEyLaNd!!! WE LOVE IT!!!!
The twins seriously did awesome at Disneyland. We went at 8am and didn't leave until almost 10pm. We thought we would have to leave earlier but when they were tired they just took a nap in the stroller. We took them on Finding Nemo, Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, (well Bella went on Jungle Cruise, Karter fell asleep on Pirates so I stayed with him and "people watched"), Winnie the Pooh (that was probably their favorite), Small World and I'm sure there were more but that is all that I can think of right now.

Waiting in line for Finding Nemo with Grandpa and Grandma Westwood.

Karter and I waiting in line for Small World.

You have got to love Splash Mountain. Its one of my favorites.

First Disneyland Souveniers. Have I mentioned how hard it is to get two babies to look at the camera at the same time and smile? This is the best i could do.

This was our beach house.
The view from the beach house. (The picture doesn't do justice!)

Did I mention there was a pool and jacuzzi on top of the house? We spent a lot of time up there too.

The Pier
And that was our trip. It was one of the best weeks ever!
