Off schedule

When we found out we were having twins I was in shock and I felt like I didn't even know how I was going to take care of one baby let alone two. So I asked around and talked to anyone and everyone for tips on how to raise twins. The most commom thing that people told me was to keep them on the same schedule. And so I have and I will now tell anyone expecting twins the same thing. But there have been and still are certain moments when my twins are "off schedule" and I treasure those one on one moments I get to spend with just the one kid and its nice to be able to give them all of my undivided attention. The other day Karter woke up about an hour earlier than Bella from his nap so we played trucks for that whole hour. It was so fun to be able to just sit down and play with him and not have to worry about anything else. He was so cute and kept saying "play with you mom". I get to take Bella to a mommy and me dance class every week and that has become our one on one time. It is so fun to watch my little girl dance around like a butterfly. I'm grateful for the little moments in my life that make me so happy to be a mom of two sweet kids.
I built a road out of tape and we played with tractors and "fake rocks" (skittles) and he kept eating the skittles and he'd say "mmm good mom" and after he had eaten them all he said "Rocks all gone mom".

Bella's one of favorite parts about dance class is the sucker they hand out at the end.
