Two toddlers + camping = Party all night long

Over the 24th of July weekend we had a fun little camping trip at Duck Creek with my family. We didn't sleep for two nights but it was still so much fun. I've decided that I really love camping. It's so relaxing and it was so nice to just let our kids run around and get dirty and not even care. It was also really fun to spend some time with my family.

We went for a little walk down to the pond.

This is Bella and Karter taking a nap in the day because they didn't sleep all night long. Trying to get them to sleep was like party time. They thought the tent was just a big play pen and kept jumping all over us. The first night was actually ok other than our air mattress went completely flat. Bella did great that night but Karter kept waking up and just wanted to cuddle with me. The second night on the other hand was AWFUL! The first two hours started off ok but then Bella woke up crying and we couldn't get her to stop and then that woke up Karter and he started crying and kept saying "Go.. Black Car". Thats what he says when he's not comfortable with the situation:) Anyway after an hour of both of them screaming and the fear of waking up the entire campground we loaded the kids and drove home at 2:00 in the morning. We were pretty sure people were applauding as we drove away. When we got home Bella thought it was play time and she would not go to sleep. So I think finally around 6:00am we went to sleep for a few hours and then drove back up to Duck Creek to finish camping. It was definitely an adventure.
